The Council were furious. There hadn’t been a non-Grey slayer in one hundred and seventy-six years. And everyone with any sense knew that was why the whole of Green Sector South fell to the Mildew.
There was nothing she could do about it now. Everyone knew the Ishihara could only be taken once – its results irrefutable.
The plans were fixed. It would just be harder. She was more visible now. More would have to be accomplished at night – hiding from the others.
Jane Brunswick, the Vampire Slayer (whatever a Vampire was) was a Green now.
