When they found the girl lying on the road, they thought she was dead. They called the paramedics, who somehow managed to find a pulse. The girl was a wreck. Her blonde hair was matted with blood, almost changing its color to a deep red.

The paramedics took her to the closest hospital, Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. Somehow the girl’s pulse kept getting stronger which confused the doctor on staff.

“Cameron, this doesn’t make sense,” the doctor reported to the Head of Emergency Medicine.

Allison read over the findings and shook her head. It didn’t add up but until the girl was strong enough, she wasn’t going to ask House to look at the file.

“Do we have her name yet?” she asked.

“Police just called it through; they found her bag near the scene. Buffy Summers. What kind of name is Buffy?” the other doctor replied.

“The name of the girl who is somehow managing to wake up already. Give her morphine,” Allison replied as she rushed to the girl’s side.

“Buffy, can you hear me?” The girl nodded in response.

“Can you speak?”

“Yes,” her voice was very shaky.

“Can you tell me what happened?”

“Gangs on PCP.”
